Uniforms
Uniform Policy
In order to play on Saturdays (and/or Monday nights) all players must be in the official game uniform which consists of
Ladies & Girls
The Club A-Line Dress, Club Bike Pants or plain black bike pants. Crop tops can be worn under the 1 piece dress, however, if a crop top is chosen, it can only be a Royal Blue crop top. Bra straps must be restricted to white or royal blue only. If you are not in official uniform you may be prevented from taking the court or asked to leave the court.
Men & Boys
The Club Singlet, plain black shorts. If you are not in official uniform you may be prevented from taking the court or asked to leave the court.
All
Game socks (white with the STARZ printed around the top) are now part of the official United Starz uniform. All players must only take the court with the official Club socks or plain white socks. If ankle guards are worn, players are permitted to wear longer plain white socks.
Visors (soft hats) are recommended as peaked hats are not allowed to be worn during the game for safety reasons.
No jewellery of any kind can be worn whilst playing. This includes stud earrings, so if you are considering having your child’s ears pierced, please wait until after the conclusion of the season. This also includes ALL BODY PIERCINGS – they must be removed – not just covered or taped.
PRNA Umpires do not make any exceptions to this rule unless there is an accompanying medical certificate.
Netball Gloves can be worn for those who have long or artificial nails. Taping of fingernails is not permitted at PRNA. Even if wearing gloves all rings, except a flat wedding ring, must be removed.
